Needing to avoid scams is inevitable in Crypto. Here's some of the most common ones, and how to stay safe.

99.9% of all scams can be avoided by NEVER sharing your Private Key or Seed Phrase with anyone. The only reason anyone will ever ask is to steal your money.

Impersonators

A common method is to impersonate official accounts. Scammers will pretend to be BONKbot Moderators, BONKbot Support Accounts and even BONKbot Official Channels. To stay safe:

• Scammers typically will DM you first. Official BONKbot Admins will never DM first, and will never ask you for your Private Key or Seed Phrase
