How does 2FA work?

BONKbot uses 2FA to protect sensitive actions (e.g., SOL withdrawals, private key export), and Passkeys (Face ID, etc.) will be added further down the line. Even if your Telegram is hacked, your assets remain safe.

What is a seed phrase?

A seed phrase is a series of words that allow you to control your assets. BONKbot is introducing a seed phrase wallet model that allows you to manage multiple wallets using a single seed phrase.

How secure is the seed phrase?

Seed phrases are highly secure when stored properly. BONKbot’s KMS is custom-built with advanced protections like remote verification, key isolation, and resistance to side-channel attacks.

Will there be a security audit?

Yes, the new system has undergone comprehensive audits, including a third-party review by OtterSec, ensuring maximum protection for users.

What if I forget my seed phrase?

You can re-export your seed phrase after passing 2FA. However, BONKbot cannot recover your seed phrase, so it is critical to store it securely.

How does the update affect trading?

Trading speed remains unaffected, and users can enable 2FA for sensitive actions. You can continue trading as usual with improved security measures in place.
